About me

I am an experienced and creative Editor with a proven track record of launching, directing and developing innovative, market-leading titles.

Formerly the Editor of CBeebies Weekly magazine

and an Editor in the Pre-school department of BBC Worldwide, I have nearly 15 years experience of publishing both books and magazines.

A graduate of the PPA Editorial Diploma , and BSME Editor of the Year nominee, I have excellent writing skills and an in-depth knowledge of publishing - specialising in the children's market.

I am currently on a 5 month contract at Egmont UK as Development Editor for an upcoming major magazine launch, but am available for any other projects from December 2011.

I can also provide a full list if required.Some of my recent commissions include:• An episode for series 2 of Kerwhizz (Jan 2011)• Multiple sketches for the BAFTA nominated series 2 of Gigglebiz (Mar 2011) • Comic strips for an internationally-licensed partwork• An annual based on the major Hollywood film Transformers 3.My latest TV scriptwriting commission was for 2 episodes of the new CBeebies series Justin's House which is currently transmitting.I am also developing a series of children's books with Louise Gardner.
